Didn't make it out on the water today because I got a bit of a late start and decided to garden instead (weeded, reseeded beets and chard - the stray cats had scratched up the first round - and planted a couple of tomato plants), but there are birds at the club, too.
The Baltimore oriole was, alas, never in sight when my camera was handy, but this little brown bird* was kind enough to pose for me. Really looking forward to taking some seabird pix out on the islands soon.
*Found out through a Facebook friend later that the bird is actually a Gray Catbird. Looked brown to me! I've heard of being colorblind, maybe I'm neutralblind?
